- Playing in a big poker tourney tonight. I’m the defending champ, so I know there will be a bullseye on my back, so I’ll be playing the tightest, most conservative poker I can in the early rounds, and opening up later. Position is everything.
- I love playing C-Lo. Even my mom is hooked.
- Glenn [...]

- I am not a cat person, I’m a dog person.
- However, I LOVE Cuttino “Cat” Mobley. He was the best player on the 1997-1998 Rhode Island Rams men’s basketball team, winning Atlantic 10 Conference Player of the Year. That team finished #11 in the country, after making the Elite Eight, and being seconds away [...]

Two links that caught my eye today:
- Sarah Palin is not an environmentalist.
- Microsoft dropped the price of the XBox 360. Maybe I’ll get a next-gen console one of these days. Who am I kidding. I’m a homeowner.
- I’m so glad that today is Friday, and this week can end. I’m just straight up exhausted.
- I did win pub quiz on Wednesday, however. My premium knowledge of 1980’s wrestlers carried my team to victory. Man, I love trivia.
- I watched the first two episodes of Gossip Girl, Season 1. [...]
- Is it really Thursday already? Wow.
- My softball season ended in such heart-breaking fashion that I still can’t believe we lost to a team we beat twice during the regular season by a combined 25 runs. I hate when we lose games that we should win.
- Maybe now that softball is over, [...]
- My softball team won again last night. We’re 11-3 and in third place. Our next game is against the first place team, then two games against the worst team, and our last game is against our archenemies. Yes, my softball team has archenemies. But that’s another post for another time.

I want to mention some new projects by friends of mine:
- Andrea is working on collaborative storytelling at Voices.
- Jay at the Loose-Fish Project is telling stories of small town life through obituary poems at the Spoon River MetBlog.
- Tom has started giving performance reviews to each day of the work week at Is [...]
